About Enoch Ascension Christian University
Enoch Ascension Christian University (EACU) is a fully online university established in 2026 by Dr. Latisha Shearer, D.Min., Founder and Chancellor. EACU exists for people who want to study Scripture and its ancient world honestly, think for themselves, and lead with purpose in the church and the marketplace.
Our Mission
To awaken truth by equipping students to study Scripture and the ancient world from every side, think for themselves, and lead with a renewed mind, sound stewardship, and love.

Our Vision
To set a new standard for theological education: one that takes ancient texts seriously, is not confined by denomination or tradition, and produces leaders for both the church and the marketplace
Our Story
EACU began with a founder who has always wanted to understand. The more Dr. Latisha Shearer searched for knowledge, the more she realized how much of it had been hidden rather than revealed. Many teachers pointed students to commentaries, repeating what commentators said instead of showing where that information came from. Much of what those commentaries drew on came from ancient texts often called forbidden.
Dr. Shearer wanted to change that. EACU shows students the sources themselves, so they can stop demonizing what God never called bad, and learn how to use that knowledge properly and effectively.
As a seer, Dr. Shearer also saw who was being left out. Higher education rarely makes room for seers and prophets. In the church, teachers and anointed people who ask questions are often demonized for asking. But those questions are valid, and they deserve an honest answer, even when the honest answer is "I don't know."
Enoch Ascension Christian University was established in 2026 to be that change.
How We Teach
We do not tell students what the Scriptures say. We walk them through a text from both sides and let them reach their own conclusions. A student may read the four Gospel accounts of Judas alongside the Gospel of Judas, weigh the evidence, and write their own assessment.
EACU takes ancient texts such as 1 Enoch, Jubilees, the Maccabees, Josephus, and the early church writers seriously. Our courses build a bridge that keeps students grounded in the foundation of truth without leaving those texts out, so graduates can speak about them from a scholarly perspective.
Students learn to tell these three apart.
Every course is built to teach four ways: seeing, hearing, reading and writing, and doing.

What We Believe
All power originates with the Most High God. No created thing, whether stars, spiritual beings, or anything else, has independent divine authority or should be worshiped. Studying a belief is not the same as adopting it.
In Every Degree
Biblical Interpretation
Biblical Finance and Stewardship
Biblical Mindset and Mental Health
Every EACU degree, at every level, includes these three courses.
Who We Serve
Apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelists, and teachers. Bible students and theologians. Authors, entrepreneurs, business owners, and nonprofit leaders. Educators, counselors, and coaches. Adult learners with life and ministry experience. And anyone who has felt that traditional churches and seminaries avoided their questions.
Our Values
Truth From Every Side
We examine the evidence before we draw conclusions.
Grounded in the Foundation
We explore freely while standing on the foundation of truth.
Unity Without Labels
We study every tradition fairly and are not boxed in by any.
Stewardship
We manage what we are given, including time, money, and influence, with integrity.
Wholeness
We care for the mind and soul as seriously as we train the intellect.
Love
We walk in love toward every person, whatever they believe.
