The Founders Scholarship
The Founders Scholarship honors people whose service, leadership, and ministry reflect EACU’s mission.
Award: up to the full cost of the honorary doctorate fee ($1,600), or the same support applied toward EACU degree tuition. The Founder and Chancellor sets each award amount, up to the full cost.
Who may apply: honorary doctorate nominees and degree applicants with a record of sustained service to their church, community, or field.
How to apply: complete the application below, including a statement of service of up to 300 words and one reference.
Selection: the Founder and Chancellor reviews each application and decides. Applicants receive a written decision by email.
Deadline: honorary doctorate applicants apply by the August 20 nomination deadline. Degree applicants apply at least 30 days before their first session.
Terms: the award is applied directly to the student’s EACU account, has no cash value, and does not transfer to another person.
