What the Honorary Doctorate Recognizes
The EACU Honorary Doctorate recognizes sustained service, leadership, ministry, professional achievement, humanitarian work, education, mentorship, and marketplace influence. It honors accomplished work and is not an earned academic degree.
How It Works
Nominate.
Submit a nomination for yourself or someone else by August 20.
Study.
Complete three required courses: Biblical Interpretation, Biblical Finance and Stewardship, and Biblical Mindset and Mental Health. Courses open January 18 and must be completed by October 15.
Publish.
Your final assignment for Biblical Interpretation is published in an EACU anthology, currently the Rightly Divide series.
Be Honored.
Receive your honorary doctorate at EACU Commencement on the first weekend of November.

Using Your Title
Recipients may use the title "Dr." in faith-based, ministry, and community settings, listed with "(Hon.)" to show that the doctorate is honorary.
